A VERY VALUABLE VISIT

Last Monday 4th June we welcomed the visit of two teachers from Mount St. Mary’s, a boarding Jesuit school in the north of England. Mrs. Grace Cuddihy and Mr. Mark Wilson spent the day meeting different groups of students and touring the school.

Throughout the day, they met with some of the school authorities and staff, starting conversations regarding different ways for the two institutions to liaise in the near future, involving both students and teachers in potential school exchange opportunities.  

They also spent some time with different groups of students, and showed them what life at Mount St. Mary’s is like for their pupils back in Britain. Through a very lively and attractive video, they transmitted not only this, but also the spirituality, values and ways of proceeding in a variety of areas that both Jesuit institutions share.  

For Colegio Seminario as well as for Mount St. Mary’s, this was a very valuable visit, which strengthened the links between these schools of the worldwide network of Jesuit educational institutions.
