SCHOOL PARTICIPATION
«The climate is changing. Food and agriculture too.»
During the month of September, the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) invited the School to design a poster, which would participate internationally.
For this design we worked with the fifth-year generation, first with the 2016 motto for World Food Day to be celebrated on October 16:
«The climate is changing. Food and agriculture too.»
Climate change is affecting the health of our planet and changing our world. It is causing more natural disasters and environmental problems, making it harder to grow food.
With this slogan, we work on 7 basic aspects:
- Forests and indiscriminate logging
- Agriculture and crop rotation
- Livestock management and self-sustainability
- Food waste and the impact of our food waste
- Natural Resources, generating recycling awareness
- Indiscriminate fishing and water conservation
- Clean food systems, from source to plate.
