La conferencia organizada por el Colegio Seminario (SMUN) me pareció muy buena y divertida, en primer lugar como ya había tenido más experiencia con MUN pude interactuar y opinar mucho más, en segundo lugar los temas de mi comité fueron bastante interesantes y sirvieron para dar polémica. Por último, me pareció que estuvo muy bien organizada.

En mi opinión, esta conferencia estuvo muy buena. Fui solo a dos conferencias pero esta la disfruté muchísimo más que la anterior. Probablemente el hecho de que fue mi segunda conferencia marcó la diferencia entre ambas. Me sentí muchísimo más segura y cómoda. Además, me pareció que el ambiente estaba mucho más distendido y eso me hizo estar más a gusto. A pesar de ser un país muy relevante para el problema en discusión, no estuve tan nerviosa como lo había estado en la conferencia anterior. Por distintas razones me sentí mucho más cómoda y segura y eso me permitió disfrutar la conferencia mucho más

Yo creo que SMUN fue una gran experiencia en mi vida. Durante la conferencia, logré sentir más libertad, tranquilidad y confianza en mí mismo, cosa que no había logrado en conferencias anteriores. Con respecto al tiempo de debate, creo que fue muy interesante, pero lo que más destaco es que cada uno (independientemente de la delegación que fueras) logró dar lo mejor de sí mismo, generando así oportunidades para todos participar y tener influencia en el debate, además de hacer de este más entretenido. Por todas estas razones, creo que SMUN será una inolvidable experiencia, que la llevaré conmigo por el resto de mi vida.

En mi opinión, la conferencia de SMUN tuvo muchísimos aspectos positivos y no puedo destacar ninguno negativo porque la verdad que fue una muy buena experiencia. La organización y disposición de los “Minions”  fue muy buena ya que los cupos se habían llenado. Los “issues” fueron muy interesantes, cada uno suponía un problema polémico del mundo. También vale la pena destacar que la conferencia en sí fue muy organizada y que los chairs manejaron la conferencia de una forma fluida y muy entretenida.

Esta fue mi segunda conferencia. En la primera me costó participar. Pero en SMUN, al ser de menos personas me pude desenvolver, me sentí cómodo en todo momento. EL debate fue fluido gracias al acertado trabajo de los floating delegates.

Me sentí bien durante la conferencia y tuve la oportunidad de hacer nuevos amigos, tanto de otros colegios como del Seminario. También aprendí mucho acerca de los temas de mi comité, y además me gustó la experiencia de defender la opinión de un país con creencias tan diferentes a las nuestras.

As always THIMUN conference was a truly pleasurable experience, I wouldn't really know how to call that what makes the conference so good, more than the conjunction of debating, feeling productive, the intense studying, the people you get to know, the international aspect of it, and the fun you have during those four days. All year long students are impatient for THIMUN to arrive, to meet people from other countries, old friends, and new friends. Most certainly you can feel a constant rush of adrenaline, during all the conference, standing up and speaking to a large group of people can be intimidating, but it could easily be compared to a rollercoaster, it is scary but once on it, all you feel is your heart racing with a mixture of joy and energy, and once you get off, you are left with a feeling of melancholy wanting to hop on once again. So here I am, waiting till next year so as to ride the rollercoaster one last time.

As I'm sure every MUN Club member would agree, THIMUN is undoubtedly the most anticipated MUN conference of the year, and it most certainly did not disappoint. As a member of the Political Committee, I had the pleasure of discussing extremely paramount issues of the modern world, and the high level of debate that was held over the course of those four days simply showcased the astounding agrumentative skills of all delegates, but perhaps most importantly their relentless resolve to change the world. I also cannot help but look back fondly on all the friendships that were forged. The transnational component of the conference allowed us to interact with people from Brazil, Chile and Argentina who, had it not been for THIMUN, we might have never met. No sooner had the conference ended than I started missing all the friends I had made. This goes to show the social and networking relevance of MUN.
Overall, THIMUN LA 2017 was an experience that left me absolutely ecstatic, though at the same time feeling quite melancolic when it came to an end. Needless to say, I am more than eager to return next year to become once again engrossed in excellent debate and enjoy such a wonderful experience.

The Seminario MUN conference has been a fantastic experience in which I could see the potential of my friends while debating and preparing holistic resolutions. For this activity, I was a student officer in the Security Council. The motto of this conference was “Tolerance in modern times”. The definition of tolerance provided by the Cambridge Dictionary is “the quality of allowing people to do or believe what they want even though you do not agree with it”. The world is made up by people from different backgrounds, who speak different languages and have various customs and religions. You can clearly see this. Nowadays, every time I watch the news I hear terrorist’s attacks in the UK, affected areas in the Middle East or bomb attacks in Pakistani, due to conflicts from two different societies that has divergent ideology or religion thoughts. It is really important to be open – minded and learn to accept others, especially as we are living in a globalized world. This is what MUN does. It made me experienced a paradigm shift concerning the way I see the world. I now find it really significant that new generations are able to become familiar with what is happening in the world that we live in. All of what I have learned in MUN is going to be part of my journey and knowledge that I will carry with me forever. That’s the main reason why I am really thankful to all my MUN directors and to the Seminario School to host this amazing conference.

This year's Seminario Conference was an experience that I will never forget. The issues debated were hard to resolve due to the controversy they imply and the hardworking delegates that debated each issue with passion. Every committee was prepared to have differing views that were equally balanced for debate to be even more controversial. The implementation of a floating delegation comprised of more experienced delegates proved to be another of one of the tools Seminario got to innovate with, improving the quality of debate and being able to represent nations and NGO that otherwise would have been impossible to represent.
On the other hand, "Tolerance in Modern Times" was the motto worked on during the day. Our MUN Team did an excellent work trying to get the message across about how Tolerance is a vital tool when dealing with the issues our world is facing. Furthermore, as a Seminario student, I got to understand the World is our Home, and for that, I will never forget this conference.
